About Our Team

With a career in dentistry that began in 2004, I bring years of experience and a passion for patient care to my role as Office Manager at Guttormsen & Hoffner Dental. I started as a dental assistant and have grown into a role where I can guide patients through the often-confusing world of insurance benefits and dental claims. 

Whether you have questions about your treatment plan, need help understanding your insurance, or just want to make sure everything runs smoothly during your visit, I’m here to help. My goal is to ensure every patient feels comfortable, informed, and well cared for. 

I’m proud to be part of a practice with such talented providers and an exceptional team. 

Outside the office, I enjoy life with my husband, Tom, and our two daughters, Macy and Elsa— not to mention Ruger, our lovable yellow lab.

With over 20 years of experience in dentistry, I’m here to help make your visit as smooth and stress-free as possible. I’ll assist you with scheduling your appointments, estimating insurance benefits, and answering any questions you may have along the way. 

I truly enjoy being part of this practice, working alongside two exceptional dentists and a dedicated, close-knit team that feels like family. 

When I’m not at the office, I love spending time with my four wonderful grandchildren and curling up with a good book. 

Hi, I’m Whitney! I’ve been part of the Dream Team since 2021, and I truly feel like I’m with my second family here. I bring 16 years of experience in medical and dental customer service, and I enjoy being the friendly voice who assists you over the phone and the warm face you see when you visit, always ready to help with coordinating your appointments, verifying your insurance benefits, and managing communication with referring offices. 

Outside of work, I’m a proud military wife to my husband Dustin of 15 years, and we have two energetic boys who keep life full of excitement. Amid the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I cherish unwinding by spending quality time with family and friends, making every moment count.

Hi, my name is Erin, and I’ve been a dental hygienist at Guttormsen & Hoffner Dental since 2018. I earned my degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College, where I graduated in 2006. I’m committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care and building strong, lasting relationships. I take pride in working collaboratively with my team to ensure every patient receives the highest standard of care in a supportive, efficient environment. 

Outside of work, I’m a wife and mother of three, and I find joy in traveling, reading, and spending time with my family.

Hi, my name is Lisa, and I’ve been a dental hygienist at Guttormsen & Hoffner Dental since 2022. Originally from Illinois, I earned my degree in dental hygiene from the College of Lake County, graduating in 2003. 

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is building lasting relationships with my patients and their families while providing thorough, compassionate care. My goal is always to ensure that every patient feels comfortable, understood, and well cared for. 

I’ve been happily married to my husband Ben and am the proud mom to my son Liam and a golden retriever named Charlie. Outside of work and family life, I enjoy spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, and getting lost in a good book.

Ever since I was a little kid, I loved smiling and seeing others smiling back at me. So when it came time to choose my career, it made sense to go into the dental field. I started as a sterilization technician for a local orthodontist after graduating from high school. As I started college at UW-Parkside, I advanced to being an orthodontic assistant/ lab technician within the year. I enjoyed the dental field so much that the natural progression was to become a dental hygienist. I completed my program at MATC in Milwaukee. 

After graduating, I worked for a few local dentists until Dr Guttormsen bought the practice from my previous employer. I have enjoyed continuing my career with Dr Guttormsen and Dr Hoffner. I take pride in my patient care and giving my patients the knowledge and skills to continue with a healthy smile. When I am not taking care of my patients, I am taking care of my family. I enjoy travel, cooking, concerts, and everything outdoors.

Hi, my name is Lexi. I graduated in 2023 from Lakeshore Technical College with a strong commitment to helping patients feel at ease and build meaningful connections. I
enjoy being a part of a close-knit team at Guttormsen & Hoffner Dental, where patient care and teamwork are our top priority. I look forward to helping you during your dental appointment.

Hi my name is Dawn. I am a 2014 graduate of Gateway Technical College. I have a positive, caring nature that is a comfort to patients, and I am passionate about helping everyone achieve optimal health. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading exciting books, and exploring the outdoors with my husband and three kids. I am so excited to welcome you to our practice and make your visit a pleasant one.
